About This Camp & Activity
Join Naturalist Kyle in walking the trails of Celery Bog looking for birds! We will go over the basics of birding for beginners, how to use the Merlin and Ebird app and the basics of identifying birds visually and by sound. It is recommended to bring a pair of binoculars and to download the Merlin and Ebird apps on your phones prior to arriving. This program is aimed for beginners and/or those who have not yet entered into the world of birding, please observe best birding ethics by staying on trail and limiting noise so as not to disturb the wildlife on our hikes. -Meet outside Lilly Nature Center
