Come tour the Robert R. McCormick House who was the president of the Tribune Company and a Colonel during World War 1. This is a guided narrative tour of his 20th century mansion. The second tour is of the First Division Museum that is a self-guided tour where you will be transported to the trenches of World War 1, the beaches of World War 11, and the jungles of Vietnam. View uniforms, awards, personal mementos, and artifacts of weapons and vehicles. Outside the Museum is the tank park that features 100 years of armor. The third tour is of the Gardens of Cantigny Park. The garden tour showcases the lifecycle of trees, shrubs, perennials and annuals in stunning displays that perform well in a Midwest climate. The tour will depend on what is currently in bloom. Please wear walking shoes. Some of the trip will be located outside so please dress for the weather. A lunch meal is included.
