Beginning Wood Carving w/ Irvin Wheeler

About This Camp & Activity

We are excited to offer a new class on wood carving where students can explore the rich history of this art form. In this class, students will learn about African, Western, Asian, and other styles of wood carving to create a bas relief sculpture. Using high-quality mahogany or walnut, you will learn how to compose a compelling image and bring it to life through carving techniques. Whether you're a beginner or an experienced woodworker, this class is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a new skill or expand their knowledge of wood carving.
