About This Camp & Activity
This program offers youth in 1st and 2nd grade a chance to learn the fundamental skills needed to help them develop their love for basketball. All participants will attend three weeks of clinics meant to introduce them to the basic skills necessary for basketball. At the conclusion of those three weeks participants are placed on a team for league games. The league consists of 3 on 3 games, 8 ½ foot baskets, smaller balls and courts, instructional officiating and no score is kept. Depending on registration numbers, girls and boys may be placed on separate teams or together. This program runs each year January - February.Please remember that the clinic time you sign up for is only for January 5th, 12th and 19th . Games played January 26th - February 18th will be once a week either Tuesday or Thursday, 6:10 or 7:10 p.m., at the Gault Recreation Center.The Wooster Recreation Department 1st and 2nd Grade Basketball registration ENDS December 14th. After the registration deadline, individuals will be put on a wait list.
