Enjoy a series of one-day workshops that will define and explore the Elements and the Principles of Art. Discover artists, art styles, and techniques, along with art history and appreciation. Take one or take them all to build upon your project!Though the styles of various artists, explore Still Life. Focus: Balance, Emphasis, Space, and Texture. Instructor Bio: Margery (MAC) Chandler has been a lifelong artist. She made a pandemic move from the Jersey Shore to Kansas City, Missouri where she has begun a new chapter in her life. While living in New Jersey she was an Art Educator, a Geriatric Health Care Activity Coordinator, taught creativity classes, started Art Chat a women’s’ art group, ran a gallery, and worked at numerous art studios. She exhibited her stone sculptures and mixed media pieces in various NJ venues. Since moving to Missouri, Margery has joined Images Art Gallery and has now started a new women’s art group. By sharing her art skills with others, she learns as much as she teaches. Creating should be joyful and fun, that is the aim of her classes.Supplies: Most supplies will be provided.
