About Camp

Continuation of the Basic Conversational ASL that develops a novice range of communication skills with the ability to expand discourse based on prior knowledge. Emphasis on cultural behaviors and practices distinct to those that approach the world from a visual perspective. Exploring in-depth history and culture of the D/deaf community with an expansion of the topics learned in the Basic ASL course and role of mouth morphemes.
