About Camp
Aikido (the way of harmony of ki) training emphasizes the discipline of mind and body with harmonious physical and mental dynamics. This class is designed to introduce fundamental skills in body dynamics, body movements, safety landing, defensive pattern drills, and overall understanding of Aikido as a classical art form. Aikido tends to promote the self-defense, aesthetic and martial aspects, rather than the competitive aspects. No previous experience is necessary. Standard all white Gi suggested (white uniform with no markings). Safety protocols will include limited numbers per class and sanitization of any equipment used. Masks and 6 feet of social distancing will be required each class. Until such time as it is deemed safe all physical contact will be excluded from curriculum. Membership required.
