After School Program

About Camp

Beginner: This program is for those who have never skated before. Students will learn basic skills such as skating forward, stopping, turning from forward to backward (pivoting), skating backward and much more. Note: Skates are required. CSA-certified hockey helmets are strongly recommended for everyone participating in on-ice activities at the Minto Sports Complex. Helmets are mandatory for participants enrolled in registered activities, such as Campus Recreation skating lessons.
