Adventure Camp at Palmetto Islands - Trail Bike/Canoe

About Camp

Young cyclists will be introduced to the proper handling and maintenance of a mountain bike. We will practice safe riding techniques initially on the flat trails around James Island County Park. We'll then utilize our new knowledge and skills to ride some of Charleston's local trail systems. Campers will also learn the art of canoeing by practicing paddling techniques through fun games and instruction. Campers will learn about communication and cooperation in order to navigate their tandem canoes and will also practice rescue techniques.
