About Camp
Campers will learn the necessary skills for the safe handling of a mountain bike while managing the trails around James Island County Park and mastering the man-made obstacle course. The adventure will culminate with a day trip on Thursday to Harbison State Forest in Columbia, SC. We're also going to put on harnesses and do some rock climbing! Campers will be guided through the basics of knot tying, belaying, and climbing techniques. Climbers will utilize the auto-belay wall as a first step in developing comfort and technique before tackling James Island County Park's famous 50-ft. outdoor climbing wall.
