About This Camp & Activity
The Wild Animal Sanctuary rescues lions, tigers, bears, and wolves from captive situations and rehabilitates them so they can live and roam freely within large natural habitats with others of their own kind. This outing is mostly outside where you will walk a 1.5-mile elevated walkway through the habitats and observe the animals from above. There are benches along the way to stop and rest. You are responsible for paying your entrance fee at the Sanctuary, which is $50 if under 70 years old, $20 if 70+, free if you are a current Sanctuary Member. You can buy lunch at the cafe ($5-$16) or bring your own. Price includes transportation and leader. LOE: Easy, but lots of walking.
