About This Camp & Activity
Each week, actors will hone their acting skills, including voice projection, stage presence, and character development, as they practice scenes and lines from "Watch Me in Wonderland", an original musical. Through this process, participants will build confidence and refine their craft in preparation for a final showcase. At the end of the program, the actors will perform "Watch Me in Wonderland" in front of an audience, highlighting their hard work, dedication, and growth as young performers. The price of this program covers 8 sessions, the final performance, and all props and costumes.ABOUT THE SHOWWatch Me in Wonderland is an all original musical that follows Alice as she journeys to Wonderland in order to rescue her sister, Louise, after she is taken there for unknown reasons. Alice encounters recognizable figures inspired by the original tale, such as eccentric tea-party characters, bizarre creatures, and chaotic rulers, but the production adds its own original twists, conflicts, and new foes such as The Creator to create a fresh experience for audiences.Performance November 21 at 10:30am**No class on October 31st
