Girls Youth Basketball – Winter 2027 Join the City of Azusa for the 2027 Winter Girls Youth Basketball season at the Memorial Park Gym! Divisions C Division: 3rd–4th Grade B Division: 5th–6th Grade A Division: 7th–8th Grade Registration Registration Opens: Monday, November 2, 2026 at 7:00 AMRegistration Closes: Thursday, December 31, 2026Fee: $35 per player Registration is available online or in person at: Memorial Park Administrative Office320 N. Orange PlaceAzusa, CA 91702 Office Hours: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM Girls Opening Day Player Workout Wednesday, January 6, 2027 C Division: 5:00 PM B Division: 6:00 PM A Division: 7:00 PM The player workout is an opportunity for participants to get on the court, meet other players in the league, and get a workout in before team practices begin. Season Information Team practices are scheduled to begin the week of January 11, 2027 at Memorial Park Gym. Teams will generally practice twice per week before games begin and approximately once per week once the regular season begins. Practices will take place on weekdays beginning at 4:00 PM or later. Practice days and times will be assigned after teams are formed. Please note that we are unable to accommodate requests for specific practice days or times. Teams are randomly assigned through CivicRec prior to roster creation in order to promote balanced and equitable play throughout the league. Regular-season games are scheduled to begin Saturday, January 23, 2027 and will primarily be played on Saturdays at the Memorial Park Gym. The season will run through Saturday, March 6, 2027. Team Assignments There are no coach requests for Youth Basketball. Players will be randomly assigned to teams through CivicRec. If siblings are participating in the same division and need to be placed on the same roster, please indicate this during registration. Registration Includes Scheduled team practices Uniform T-shirt Regular-season games End-of-season medal and banquet Picture Day and the End-of-Season Banquet are TBA. Dates and additional information will be provided by your coach after players have been placed on teams.
