About Camp

Float like a snowflake! Fence like the Mouse King! Explore the magical world of the Nutcracker through creative movement and theatre. Use your imagination to create simple props and costumes. There will be a performance for family and friends on the last day of class. Important CAMP Information:• FOOD/DRINKS REQUIREMENTS: Please, send your camper with at least two snacks, lunch, and a water bottle each day. We ask that you also limit the number of sugary snacks and drinks you send with your child. Campers are not allowed to purchase snacks during the day, so please do not send money. MAC does not provide snacks or lunch for campers.• ePACT: The ePACT program is being used across Portland Parks & Recreation and has replaced our paper hard copy system that has been used in the past. Filling this form out ensures our staff have the information they need to ensure the safety of your camper. You will receive an email invite from ePACT, our online participant emergency information system. Please follow the link in the email invite you received and fill out/submit your ePACT form. Staff are NOT allowed to check in campers who do not have completed ePACT forms. (While we are highly encouraging electronic submission, we will have paper forms available onsite for those with barriers to internet access. These will still need to be filled out completely before staff check in campers.)• PICK-UP/DROP-OFF: MAC cannot accommodate early drop-off or late pick-up. Please list all individuals authorized to pick up your child on your ePACT submission. Any other arrangements must be requested in writing one week in advance of the camp start date and approved by a Program Coordinator.• MEDICATION and MEDICATION WAIVER FORM (if needed): If your child requires the administration of any medication during camp, The Medical Administration and Medication waiver forms must be submitted no later then one week in advance of the camp start date. Please contact the MAC office at 503-823-2787 for the forms.• CANCELLATION POLICY: MAC requires notification seven days prior to the first day of camp for full refunds. After the camp begins, no refund will be given.Pay What You Can: We understand that our activity fees may be a barrier to participation for some members of our community. If you are unable to pay the full fee amount, you may use the discount feature at check-out to pay what you can.Donate: Portland Parks & Recreation relies on customer activity fees to make public programs possible. If you have the financial means, please consider making a donation to PP&R’s “Community Access Fund” at check-out (see the “Donation” drop-down list.). This fund helps us serve those in need. Thank you for your support.
