Preschool, youth & their families.Museum of the Grand Prairie, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 10:30 AM – NoonEmbark on the enchanting StoryWalk Trail at Lake of the Woods (0.25 miles, mowed, flat) where we’ll immerse ourselves in the imaginative, bilingual tale of We Are Grateful. Afterward, let imagination take shape as we return to the Museum of the Grand Prairie to make gratitude jars. Bring your own container to repurpose or use one of our jars! Take your decorated container home and regularly add handwritten notes or drawings of things you are grateful for. Take them out and read them at the end of the year or whenever you need a reminder of life's good moments. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
