Want to learn the fun game of pickleball? Join Gwen Radel from Nitty Gritty Pickleball and other top instructors. Gwen is certified through the Professional Pickleball Registry (PPR), the official education and certification partner for USA Pickleball. Whether you’ve never played or only tried it a few times, this class is for you. Our two-hour introductory clinic covers all the fundamentals you need to start playing pickleball immediately! You will learn the basic rules, scoring, safety, terminology, court positioning, and basic techniques. Paddles and balls are provided (bring your own if you prefer). Dress for the weather, wear tennis/court shoes (not running shoes), and bring a filled water bottle. We strive to maintain approximately a 4:1 participant-to-instructor ratio for personal attention, with a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 24 participants. Pre-registration is required; please register for only one Intro to Pickleball session, as all sessions cover the same content. To secure your spot, register by the Monday before your class; after that date, enrollment is subject to available space and not guaranteed. You’ll leave confident in the basics and with next-steps on where and how to keep playing.
