Earth Day in Haverford Township

Join your neighbors at the Township’s Earth Day Celebration in Bailey Park (by the tennis courts) on April 25th from 10am to 1pm. Come for the festival packed with children's environmental learning activities, volunteer activities (11-12pm), and the ribbon cutting for the new solar panels on the Library and the awning of the Township Building (12:15pm). Get a free mosquito dunk bucket, try out electric lawn equipment, and connect with local sustainability initiatives. Volunteer activities will include refreshing the rain gardens, removing invasive plants, planting native plants, and picking up trash.Note: It is encouraged that people bike or walk to the festival, as limited parking is available around the park on Washington Ave.No registration is required.
