Why are some animals camouflaged and others bright and fabulous colors? Some animals can even have both! We will look at a collection of colorful creatures and try to figure out how these animals use color in their daily lives. We’ll also see how colorations can keep an animal safe in its natural environment but not be helpful when moved to a different environment. Each day is packed with interactive science projects, engaging presentations, recreational games, and outdoor recess activities. Children attending the camp will get to interact closely with a variety of animals from Robin’s farm, including fluffy bunnies, funky chickens, playful sheep, peacocks, emus, and more. Please bring a snack, a water bottle and a bagged lunch. A $50 lab fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of camp.
