About Camp

The Colorado Association of Recreational Athletics (CARA) Swim Team is designed to be a program with a strong recreational format for the non-ranked, non-sanctioned participant. Swimmers participate in two practices per week. Swim meets dates are TBD.Level of Instruction: Swimmers who are interested in participating in CARA each swimmer must have working knowledge of all 4 major strokes.Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle2 of the 4 strokes - Swimmers must swim a total of 1 length (25 yards)The other 2 strokes swimmers must swim from the wall to the flags (7 yards)Skill Assessment: May 17 from 3 - 4 p.m. at the Parker Recreation Center. Practice times will be assigned at swim assessments, all registered participants must attend swim assessments.
