This is a pre-lifeguard training course designed for teenagers who want to learn skills in lifesaving, lifeguarding and pool operation. Course curriculum will include drowning prevention, stroke instruction, back injuries, water chemistry, lifeguard responsiblities, beach and lake front guarding procedures, boating safety and much more. Students must be able to swim four lengths of the pool in reasonably good form (Level 5).
