For individuals whose primary disability is visual impairment.. Goalball is played in a gymnasium with two teams with three people on each team. Each team stands at opposing ends of the gym. The object is to throw a ball, which is similar to a basketball, past the other team. The ball has bells on the inside, so the teams can hear when the ball is coming.
