About Camp

-Boys currently enrolled in 3/4th grade for the 2022/2023 school year:-Focuses on batters swinging on the right pitch & a complete understanding of balls/strikes, to work to understand the best situation in getting outs. Players will get a firm understanding of each position played in the field. This league requires some individuals who want to pitch and commit ample practice time to it. **Glove required** NO JERSEY REQUIREDREGISTRATION: March 17 – April 28DATES: May-June- Monday & WednesdayTIME: 5:00-8:00 PMLOCATION: Harlan Rogers Sports Complex-Baseball Preseason clinic will take place: Wednesday, May 2nd (5:30-7:00PM) @ Harlan Rogers Sports Complex-Coaches meeting will take place: Tuesday, May 4th (5:30PM) @ Citizen’s CentralLeague Formats Depending on Number of Participation-Practices & Scheduled Games Enough participants registered for each league 36 participants registered Enough volunteer coaches to cover all teams BY registration deadline! Team games and practicesPractices & Pick-Up Play Not enough participants for scheduled games Less than 36 participants Not enough volunteer coaches to accommodate individual teams One practice/week One "Pick-Up" scrimmage/weekSkills/Open Fields less than 16 participants registered Four weeks of skills camps One open field/week*Anything less than 10 participants will not be offered*Format decisions will be made on registration deadline date--late participants will not count towards these numbers due to planning and timing
